The Creative Juices are Flowing

My beautiful sister just called me. (She lives in Cape Cod, MA. Quite a world a way from me.) I had sent her this letter in the mail and she finally got it yesterday. It was a surprise because she wasn't expecting it. We usually always communicate through emails, myspace and our cell phones, but I decided to go old fashioned and send her a hand written letter in the mail. I guess I was feeling a bit nostalgic that day.

So she calls me to tell me that the funny thing is she was thinking of doing the same thing to me. And laughed when she got my letter in the mail because I beat her to it. (Great minds think alike.) :) And then she tells me about this idea of doing a journal swap. Well, it technically wouldn't be swaping journals, but mailing one back and forth.

Just like when we were in school and passing notebooks between our friends, we'd take the journal, write in it, put things in it, leave artwork in it, and then mail it to the other.

You should have heard how excited I got on the phone over this idea. My creative juices started flowing and I couldn't even keep up with all the ideas that started popping in my head. My sister just laughed. :)

So while she's busy writing me back, old school style, I'm going on a hunt for the perfect journal (light in weight so it won't be so expensive to mail). :) Mmmmm...I can't wait to post the pictures of the things I come up with. :)
