Today I feel like the tide.
Over and over again I pour onto the shore.
Reaching out, but only getting so far.
Giving more than I take.
But beyond the eye, a storm is brewing.
An energy is stirring up in me so big.
One day I will take a deep breathe and reach farther than I ever have before,
Taking everything that existed away.
I will demolish the old and prepare for the new.
Some will curse me and some will be in awe.
But opinions won't matter,
I had to push the limit that was so small.
